TWOFER TUESDAY

Last night I saw the absolutely fantastic Cut/Copy live at the Paradise Rock Club here in Boston. Needless to say, I was completely blown away. They played all of the tracks I wanted to hear: Lights & Music, Hearts on Fire, Out There On The Ice, and an encore of Far Away.

The openers were Black Kids and Mobius Band, although I missed out on seeing Mobius Band due to some… business I had to take care of with the girlfriend. Black Kids were a lot of fun and had really good energy and I really enjoyed their set, but the show didn’t get going until Cut/Copy took the stage.

As soon as they came on, they had the whole crowd wrapped around their fingers, getting even the most self-obsessed hipster trash to jump and move. I honestly haven’t danced that hard since I saw Justice at the same venue.

In honor of the fabulous show Cut/Copy put on, I’d like to take this time to post a twofer of a fresh Cut/Copy remix by the amazing Midnight Juggernauts, and a tasty remix from The Twelves of Black Kids first single that’s been making the blog rounds recently.

    Do you ever toss and turn at night wondering how decided Rosie O’Donnell ever made it onto TV? I do. I tried lunesta and ambien. I even tried them together, but that just gave me a raging hard-on.

    I came for Black Kids, but Cut Copy was pretty fuckin awesome, even if me and Sam were in the gay aisle

    hey… so why on earth do you not write for tastemakers???

    haha you need to come do some reviews with us in the fall.

    even like just that. you dont even need to really change much. we’re actually looking for show reviews now. but, let me know if you’re interested at all.
